Kalkaska Area Transit provides Door to Door/Demand Response within the village limits on a call in basis. We ask that you call at least 1 hour in advance when you have scheduled appointments to assure we get you to your appointment on time, otherwise it is first come first served basis for pickups.

Kalkaska Area Transit offers door-to-door county-wide advance reservation service with daily scheduled runs to the outlying county areas.  To assist us in scheduling we request that you call by 6:00 PM a day in advance to set up your ride. Unlike a taxi service, routes are scheduled by grouping rides within the same area.
