Door to Door/Demand-Response (Village Limits)
Kalkaska Area Transit provides Door to Door/Demand Response within the village limits on a call in basis. We ask that you call at least 1 hour in advance when you have scheduled appointments to assure we get you to your appointment on time, otherwise it is first come first served basis for pickups.

Door to Door Scheduled Routes (Countywide)
Kalkaska Area Transit offers door-to-door county-wide advance reservation service with daily scheduled runs to the outlying county areas.  To assist us in scheduling we request that you call by 6:00 PM a day in advance to set up your ride. Unlike a taxi service, routes are scheduled by grouping rides within the same area.

Flex Scheduled Routes
Kalkaska Area Transit offers Scheduled runs to specific locations in the county twice a day. Times estimated within 10 minutes at these scheduled pickup locations.

Regional Transportation to Traverse City
Kalkaska Area Transit offers transportation to Acme Meijer, Turtle Creek Casino, and Woodland Creek connecting with BATA Bayline Monday thru Friday.

Non Emergency Transportation/Cowell, Traverse City
Kalkaska Area Transit provides transportation Monday - Friday to the residents of Kalkaska County that utilize the Cowell Cancer Treatment Center, Traverse City, Michigan.

Student Transportation
Kalkaska Area Transit provides transportation for students at various locations.
